You can capture a reflection of the monolith at sunrise by descending to the western edge of the White Pocket, as the photographer in the center of the image is doing. Note the reflection just before the sage begins.

The cliffs to the east are nicely lit at sunset. The Second Tree is southwest of the often photographed tree that you see to your right when hiking into the White Pocket.
