| The Wave is about half way between Page and Kanab. Weather
is usually a little colder than Page and slight warmer than
Kanab. The six months from March to May and September to
November typically have the best weather, June is the driest
month. It is relatively easy to get permits in January and
early February, especially through the walk in process.
There is often water at the Wave in the months of December to
February as well, and there could be snow although snow melts
fast in the desert. In my opinion the worst months to
visit are July and August where the heat makes it difficult to
spend enough time to explore the area. Current -
